When you talk to instructors about the need to improve training effectiveness, what do you discuss the most? Do you talk more about the things that need improvement or do you give equal time to the “reasons” why improvement is important? If you balance your discussion between what needs to change and why, you increase your chances of getting better performance.
Using this approach is easy. First, identify the behaviors you need instructors to improve. Perhaps instructors need to start doing something or stop doing something. Second, identify the kind of “positive” results that could occur if instructors exhibited these behaviors. For example, performance improvement could have a positive impact on what the instructor does, what the trainees learn, and even on the image of the training department. Consider this scenario:
This Is The Behavior You Want Instructors To Improve:
Do a better job of allowing adequate time to cover the most “critical topics” during training classes
These Could Be The “Positive” Results Of This Behavior:
1. Increased ability of participants to master the information that is most essential for performing their job
2. More instances where trainees can immediately use the information learned during the training back on the job
3. More instances where training participants remain engaged and interested during the training
4. More instances where participants are challenged to think critically during the training
5. Fewer instances where excessive time is spent discussing “non-critical” topics
6. More instances where all components of the training program are covered in a timely and complete manner
7. Fewer complaints about training instructors and/or the training program
8. Fewer instances where training classes must be cancelled due to lack of interest in the training program
9. More instances where managers see the value of allowing their employees to attend training programs
The above results can be used to justify the need for improving a variety of training behaviors. To customize your own list of results, listen to the complaints from managers in your organization. Or more importantly, listen to the participants who attend your training programs. You will have a lot of information to use when you are ready to explain WHY performance improvement is needed.
Improvement In Training Effectiveness Depends On Your Approach
Your success at motivating training instructors to improve performance depends on your approach. Citing a litany of unsatisfactory behaviors is not the ideal approach for encouraging change. Neither is outlining a long list of things that have gone wrong because of poor performance. The way you encourage improvement is to explain what needs to change and how that change can lead to positive results for the instructor and others.
So the next time you talk to instructors about performance improvement, remember to explain “what” you want and “why” what you want is important.

To be completely honest, they're a bunch of bull.
It's just a bunch over-complicated rules that have absolutely no real function other than making you worry if you're doing it right or not.
Just behave like a mature, civilized, adult. Nothing more, nothing less.
You might want to try some lifts that imply the throwing motion. Constantly throwing the ball with a friend is good. Try throwing it to your friend at the same spot over and over again. Work on your throwing motion and get it perfect each time.
Well if you can't gain weight much, you might have an ectormorphic build (meaning that you are naturally skinny and have a high metabolism and can't gain weight fast). What you can do is take in lots of carbs and have natural sugars found in fruits. have loads of fruits.
An exercise bike isn't really worth it. There's nothing like biking out doors. A treadmill would be better though as you can run at your own pace and set the incline higher for better results. if you want to tone your body you really shouldn't be doing only 15 reps. Lower your weights to maybe 20 or 15 and do 20 reps. When you tone you need more reps involve. You can't gain weight and tone at the same time. When you bulk, you need to eat lots of calories limit cardio to 20 minutes a day and do intense weigh ttraining. If you're cutting, you need to eat less than you normally do, do 1-2 hours of cardio and weight training.
Visit http://www.bodybuilding.com to find exercises and workout plans. It also has a database where you can see each exercises for each body part.
Building muscle depends on how many reps and sets you are doing. You do need to warm up with a lighter weight — a weight you can curl 15-20 times in one set. After that, you need a heavier weight that you can only lift and curl about 8-10 times and do 3 or 4 sets. Then add more weight that you can lift and curl only 5 times and do 2-3 sets.
I don't know how old you are, or what body type you have. These two things can be a factor in how quickly and what kind of results you get.
P.S. I just read what "johnny" wrote. Don't follow his advice about the repetitions if you want larger muscles. Doing that many repetitions only tones the muscle and burns calories, it doesn't build the muscle bigger.
o become a better soccer player you need to develop your skills every day. However, you also need to know how to avoid making unnecessary mistakes while playing soccer. In this article I will present some common mistakes that you should try to avoid while participating in your regular soccer games.
Many professional soccer players tend to put themselves in difficult situations and you probably wonder why. Well, usually these players become too comfortable with their way of playing. For example, a full back that have played well during the whole game probably have his mind on some other place (if you consider that his team is having a 3-0 score with 5 min left of the game).
However, if he misses to mark an opponent and that opponent manage to score 3-1 then the opponents may have an advantage in the return game. This one is a simple example on how the brain of a soccer player actually works. Now, let’s take a look at common mistakes you can’t afford if you want to become a better soccer player;
Dribbling as the last man – This one is pretty obvious. Simply, never dribble while playing as the last man. If you lose the ball to one of your opponents you can be pretty sure that he will beat your goalkeeper and score. Instead, try to always play the ball simple and choose safe passing alternatives. If you feel that you don’t have anyone to pass the ball to, then kick it far away from you with a powerful cross.
Clear the ball safely – Try always to clear the ball far away as possible. I always prefer to kick the ball at least 40 yards away from my goal in order to have enough time to organize my defense and prepare for the upcoming attack.
Play the ball safely – Always try to pass the ball safely to a near standing teammate. With safely I mean that you should not try to execute some 40 yard crosses if you have at least two non marked teammates near you. That 40 yard cross will be lost in 99% of the case and your teammates will blame you for playing the ball without reflecting over the situation properly.
Don’t keep the ball too long at your feet – While playing soccer, you can’t expect that your opponents will let your receive the ball, gain control over it and then pass the ball safely to an teammate without having them attacking you. Simply, the faster you play the ball, the easier you will have to perform maximum on the soccer field. One rule you should have is to always play the ball on the first touch while being on your own side of the field.
Summary Things mentioned in this article are only few things among many others that you need to know in order to become a better soccer player and avoid mistakes in soccer. However, if you stick to things mentioned here I can ensure you that your mistakes on the field will decrease greatly.
If you are training DIFFERENT muscles everyday then you will see results in a few weeks. If you are training all your muscles everyday then you will be over training them and you wont see results.

Not training hard enough? You using a heart rate monitor?
You'll notice right away if you keep records. Your initial strength can double in one week. Of course, progress is slower after that.
