Alternative marketing ideas for Coach-Conultant-Trainer?
I have my own business as a Personal Improvement Coach and Business Communications Consultant specializing in relationships and conflict resolution. I do one-on-one coaching, corporate team building, and training seminars.

I am currently under-funded and I don't have the money for conventional advertising campaigns such as print, radio, or TV. Plus I don't believe that conventional advertising fits me or my business model.

I have considered alternative methods such as podcasts and was wondering if there was anybody out there who had information about how best to get started with podcasts. Or other inexpensive and alternative methods of marketing my services?

I do have an existing website at www.endlesspossibilitiesconsulting.com.

  2. what a humble person you are. Not self indulgent or conceited at all. You have everything it takes to be a leader of a cult.

There are quite a few gyms propping up all over Dubai imo.
However, i dont know if any of them are currently recruiting.
But what you could do is upload your resume, stating your qualifications, on a few of dubai's job sites under the fitness category and see if employers contact you with relevant personal training jobs.

I know http://www.dubaijobspot.com has a fitness section to upload your resume.

    Good Luck!!

Anytime Fitness or Golds the facility mattere little when choosing a personal trainer. There a couple key questions you should ask, I often insist my new clients ask me these or at least understand why they are important. If you are unhappy with the trainers available at your gym do NOT settle. It is probably more productive to hire a personal trainer online adn have them design a workout and nutrition program for both of you from there. This is often even better becuase financially you can afford to keep individual training for a longer period of time. I do some of my clients online and they are very successful especially when they have a workout buddy. You can email me at esoterictrainer@yahoo.com if you would like to know more about how that would work. Anyhow back to the questions you NEED to ask any trainer:
    1. What can I realisically expect for results?
    2. How long before those results start to manifest?
    3. How often do we have to meet?
    4. Can you provide the program in writing?
    5. Can you provide nutrition plan in writing?
    6. What certifications do you have?
    7. What athletic accomplishments have you done?
    8. Pricing – (duh)
    9. Are you independent contractor or hired by the gym?
    10. Can you describe your training philoshopy briefly to me?

  6. AngelVyxen says:

Absolutely. They call that a consultation. You bring your questions and a notebook to record answers and other notes. The personal trainer should answer all your questions and provide you with a routine to help you achieve your goal. When you feel that your routine is becoming too easy or you just want a change, you can pay for another consultation if you want to. That could be months or years down the road.

Learning and growing and doing stuff. How awesome is that? Oh my gawd!

I often wondered what it was like to express yourself from a narcissistic, self-important position. After suffering through this video, now I know.

    1. i want the trainer to be fun….when were doing a workout, i want to be able to have fun and not DREAD having to go and workout again.

    2. i would like them to be sociable and friend like because if they were really distant, it would be hard to ask them questions about what im doing.

3.i also want them to know what theyre doing! it would be cool if they had a lot of different excersizes to do so that every workout sesion could be something different!

just be yourself and have fun! people want you to be really nice and know what youre doing!
    :]

  11. Funky House says:

That’s wonderful! I’m sure that when those children in Africa go on the internet and watch this, they’ll be thrilled to know that you joined the peace corps and helped them out simply to quell your own boredom. Ah, affluence.

BTW, not all learning makes you happier. Try researching the history of poverty in countries like Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, New Guinea, China, India, Bangledesh…etc. You will see it everywhere.

So, how about preaching global improvement instead, eh?

  12. XIAO SHEN says:

That is a ridiculous amount of questions to expect people to answer. Do your own homework!

  13. Anonymous says:

Great. Hopefully the self improvement video on my channel can give you a laugh.

  14. johnfier says:

Do you have references and education about training?

  15. I saw that article and just laughed! I had the same thought. During school I had a coach who was always working my butt off, and during the summer I was climbing trees, playing kickball, swimming, whatever. When my head hit the pillow at night , I was out in less than five seconds. This is almost as goofy as baby therapists.
What the hell is this world coming to? If a teen is overweight, unplug the computer and toss out all those Little Debbie cakes. Then go buy him/her some good cross country shoes.

  16. Dan =] says:

It depends on what level of a trainer they are and posibly what time slot you are looking to work out in. (That is a secret). It also depends on how many sessions your buy at a time. Like many other things in life, the more you buy, the cheaper per unit it is.

Trainers can really help you with your goals no matter how large or small they are.

Make sure you ask what certification the trainer is. Look for ACSM, NASM, ACE, or Cooper Inst. Also ask about other specialty certifications they might have such as strectch, pilates ect..

    Hope this helps.

  17. More people like you is what this planet needs. You inspired me! Thank you… ?

  18. Home Jobs US says:
