There are many different reasons as to why weight loss success stories are so important to learn about, and one of the main reasons is because if you read about weight loss success stories then you are more apt to feel motivation and dedication in regards to your own weight loss. Both personal development and personal improvement deal with growth or expansion. Yet they are two different viewpoints. Personal development is a horizontal viewpoint, while personal improvement is a vertical viewpoint. With the first, you are looking at the horizon, and with the second, at the stars. Select the time periods you think best for you. Here’s an example: you select four time periods; they are Week, Month, Six Months and One Year. Label one file folder for each time period.

Life coaching arrived in the UK around 10 years ago, having started in the United States some 10 years earlier. The idea of life coaching is to define goals and work out how you can achieve them. Whereas therapy analyses the past, with life coaching the emphasis is on the future and how the client can fulfil their potential.
